It would depend on the guy who's going to be wearing the style...now, I don't normally like long hair on a guy, but my SIL has long hair but it looks good on him--I have seen pictures of him with short styles and they don't fit him, the long hair suits him...some guys look good in a crew cut, some don't...it's so nice these days that a lot of salons have those computer programs where they take your picture and can show you how all the styles, cuts, and colors would look good on you BEFORE you go to all the trouble and money and THEN find out you don't like it or it doesn't look good on you...

Allure, Glamor, they have magizines just deadicated to hair and finding the perfect style in big stores like walmart and target. I would just reley on magizines bescause they need diffrent things every momth so you wont get the spesific infomation you are looking for I recomend going to the library where you can check out old issues, but I think you would be better of getting a book on the subjet you want. I know that Allure and Glamor both publish books So you could get the tips you need and the magizine feel you want so you don't have to read lots of small counfusicg text. I just read Allure: Confestions of a beauty editor and thought it was good. Its on sale now at target:

Pull the crown of your heads hair back in an elastic band or a barrette at the top back of your head. You can pull a few stands out arund your face or keep it all pulled back.

Also, with 2 combs or barrettes you can pull each side of your hair back and up over your ear. It still looks like it's down but you get it away from your face. I do this to keep my hair out of my eyes and mouth when golfing or playing sports. I don'tlook good with ALL my hair pulled back so the half up half down it GREAT. Also, a few years ago those little clips were cute for pulling your hair back in little clumps. You can make a design with the pulling of each clump or alternate colors of teh clips for a new neat look.

to do this you need to

1. wash your hair with shampoo do not condition as the hairstyle will fall out too quickly



2. towel dry you hair and brush it through, you do not need to bother about getting every knot brushed out



3. put some volumising mouse into your hair (can be by any brand) then roughly dry your hair.

5. tease and texture you hair into different directions and backcomb parts on it if you want a more textured feel.

if you want to wear you hair up you could curl the majority of it with some curling irons and out the main of your hair in a pony tail, then, if you have a fringe or side fringe, pull that down and also pull down a few strands at the front of you hair as well and curl these strands

this looks nice and it take me about 5-10 mins as you only need to curl parts of your hair to get the desiered effect

I am a 27-year-old Asian woman working in a fairly conservative place. My hair is very straight and fine, and I believe it is of medium thickness. lol. that surprises me. i'm about your age and i wish i could stay it for longer! i mean like right now is the perfect time when we still have gorgeous skin (no wrinkles), gorgeous hair (no thinning or wiry split ends), and tons of resilience. but i've heard that a bit of eye liner and curling your hair will make you look older.
You should wait at least six weeks after u get your perm to color your hair and in order to keep it from breaking you need to get it done at least every two weeks
