I think you may be embelishing how high the temperature goes on the straightener without temperature control. If you were to use a straightener at 430 degree's to your hair it would catch on fire easily. And if it doesnt it would damage your hair super badly. My advice to you is i would go with the straightener with the Adustable temperature. That way you can find out what temperature straightens your hair the best without damaging it as much. Also may i suggest going to a salon and asking them the minimum temperature it takes to get a good straighten. That way you can buy a straightener without wasting more money than needed and less damage to your hair.
Also answering to your frizziness, again go to a salon or someplace where people cut your hair and ask them what type of straightener is good with frizziness.
Also can you tell me what type of straighteners those are. I need a new one cause mine sucks. It only sucks because even when i get like a little water on my hair or even when i sweat my hair curls up again so i need one that will keep my hair straight after getting a little wet

I have never tried the muster so i don't kno the features ect. but recently i got the remington tourmaline straightner. Its cheap, and it goes up to 230 degrees which is hotter than most, and the touramaline is good, straightens it alot better. It works really well on every one elses hair i kno.

its hard for me to shop for hair stuff because my hair is really thick, and extremely curly, like really tight curls. Just natually. What makes it even harder is that my hair is also really delicate in its own way.

Don't put anything on it. Seriously, the longer your hair gets the more weight it will take on and the more stretched to curl will be. Perms and relaxers anything that will cause your hair to break off is a no no. Try braids to tale the hair for a while till it grows out. And a product w/o alcohol is your best friend. Try a good conditioner too. Treat your hair well and it will look good.

so Ive had these pretty good cheapish hair straighteners over a year and yesterday the ceramic part chipped off so its kinda unusable, tomorrow im going to buy some new straighteners but most of them don't work on my thick, long, wavy layered hair :/ GHD's work so good but I cant get money out of my bank and my parents arent going to pay 拢99 for some, so im stuck on which straighteners to get :( Anybody know some pretty good ones for everyday use? Are Remington ones any good? How about Nicky Clarke ones? Toni %26amp; Guy (works wonders on my brothers short v. curly hair)?My hair is fairly thick and very wavy (not in a nice way) its just below my shoulder blade and i have a full fringe :)

Try to get a straightener whose plates are at least 1.5 inch.. the 1'; is better for curling and people with short-medium hair.

chi turbo 2inch on a higher setting for thicker hair i seuggest starting on a middle setting if that ddnt work try a higher setting (mine needs it) try regis designline get it pressed (works with my hair and is alcohol based so it will stay straight longer) and start at the back bottom section about 1 to 1 and a half inches thich n work ur way to the top front use a comb if u can lol (sometimes i cant) and also leave ur conditioner in alittle longer than usual to rehydrate also i dnt reccomend doing it more than once a week hope i helpedConfused on which hair straightener to buy?

I now use an fhi that used to be sold at target, but you can probably get from salons or cosmetic stores. It works amazing, though. My hair stays straight for the whole day, and I live in florida, where it's VERY humid. There are probably better straighteners out there, but i haven't really used many different kinds. I also have naturally wavy/straight hair...

Definitely the Chi. I've had the Chi for several years now %26amp; im never disappointed. I can straighten, curl, %26amp; flip out my hair in ah matter of short time. I totally recommend it it's the best straightener out there %26amp; it does not leave any wave marks!

The Sedu is expensive, but it works great! It also has a two-year warranty, unlike the Chi which has one year. In addition, I have heard the Chi shorts out after about 6 months. This complaint appears to be the only problem of the Chi.

I don't use Solia, but I use Revlon, and what's good about it is that there's temperature control so no matter what kind of hair you have, it can adjust. It is also good for wet hair, because you can adjust it as well. I bought it at a department store for $28, and it works fine with wet or dry hair, coarse or thin. ;]

i'm not sure but the best straighteners out there would have to be either a chi straightener or a sedu flat iron. the work wonders on thick frizzy hair! they are a little pricey,but they last forever t=so it's worth it in the long run. good luck! :-)

The Sedu is expensive, but it works great! It also has a two-year warranty, unlike the Chi which has one year. In addition, I have heard the Chi shorts out after about 6 months. This complaint appears to be the only problem of the Chi.

I don't use Solia, but I use Revlon, and what's good about it is that there's temperature control so no matter what kind of hair you have, it can adjust. It is also good for wet hair, because you can adjust it as well. I bought it at a department store for $28, and it works fine with wet or dry hair, coarse or thin. ;]

are you using any kind of straightening product like Biosilk? if not you might want to try that and see if it helps before you return the sedu. I haven't tried a solia but have always heard that Sedu is one of the best straightens out there for all hair types.
Try the GVP Ceramic Flat Iron. Mine works great on my hair! It really helps me get rid of the poofiness! You would never guess that my hair is natually poofy ; )

are you using any kind of straightening product like Biosilk? if not you might want to try that and see if it helps before you return the sedu. I haven't tried a solia but have always heard that Sedu is one of the best straightens out there for all hair types.
Try the GVP Ceramic Flat Iron. Mine works great on my hair! It really helps me get rid of the poofiness! You would never guess that my hair is natually poofy ; )

I am planning to get the Solia flat iron. I'm looking for a flat iron that would get pin straight hair. I have the type of hair that's a tiny bit wavy at the ends but mostly straight but not pin straight. So will the Solia Flat Iron get the pin straight hair I am looking for??

I have very naturally curly hair and I use the Conair Nano Silver ($40 at Target) to blow dry with the attachment that concentrates the flow of air. It also comes with a straightening attachment and a diffuser. Great blow dryer! And I have tried them all.
I use the Chi straightening iron, on a low setting. It still smoothes the hair out but doles out less damage.
In case you are interested. I use John Freida Weather Works creme (and only that) on my hair when wet, then round brush with the blowdryer in sections.
It seems countereffective but I think it works better with less product and less heat on the hair... gives you more flow and life to your locks.
