What are some hair styles for curly hair?

I have medium long, brown curly hair. Any good ideas for hair styles? Oh and I'm a teenager....I don't know if that makes a difference.





I'm open to straightening it, braiding it, anything =)

Try braiding it in pigtails at night...then in the morning when u take it out, it comes out with pretty waves. Also u could scrunch it and part it off center. Then put a headband 1 inch back. Its soooo cute!

you can use bed head products and for shampo i use the catwalk curlys rock which i personally use and love. i too have curly hair and using these products really helps my hair to be defined.


also if you want to straighten your hair i use tresemme heat product line which helps protect your hair from heat damage


and for if you wanted to braid your hair think about using a leave in conditioner so your hair wont break as easily

layering is nice but word of caution ....do not i repeat do not let the hair stylist use a razor to cut your hair .....demand to him or her that they use a scissor because it gives curly hair a more precise clean cut look rather than piecey.....sorry but it only work well with straight hair.....hope i helped ...eek lol

I hope that you are talking about your real hair, and not a weave. If you are speaking of weave synthetic, forget it! Once it hits the water, it's a done deal, unless you have human hair, which still requires work. If you are talking about your natural, God given wavy hair, my recommendations are to condition it daily, depending on what type of water you will be in. Go to a beauty salon and get someone to give you some simple twist, (not braids) going back. Hope that this helps. (11years in practice)

wen ur hair is wet put curling mousse in it and sort of gather it up in a ball and squeeze it.its sort of like crumpling up paper. if u have bangs straighten them after ur hair drys

Then she adds in ';When you go to church everyone gonna laugh at you.'; But no one did, they actually liked it. Now shes telling me to cut it all off. She might think it's not descent or she might not like it so she use the church as an excuse for you to change the style.It not about Christianity it just how some moms behave.

The same style can look different on different people. With that said, try to find a look that looks good on YOU :). However, here's a little help...



When you cut %26amp; style your hair you should definitely take into consideration the shape of your face. If your face is more heart shaped (wide cheekbones, more narrow chin) then you should definitely consider sweeping your bangs to the side as opposed to wearing them straight across. This usually elongates the face and would certainly look good with a wavy, tussled hair-do. If your face is heart shaped, make sure that your stylist gives you some great layers so that you don't have too much weight on the top of your hairstyle, thus making your face look too wide (this layering also depends on your hair thickness - speak to your stylist). As an aside, the straight across bang, might look good with an heart shaped face - depending on your features. You can always play around with the bang if it is not too short. Try to keep it brow length -

you can try a naturally wavy look. After you get out of the shower, let your hair airdry a bit so that its damp, not wet, the spritz your hair with a wave boosting spray, scrunch your hair a little bit and then put it up into a bun overnight. When you take your bun out in the morning, your hair should have a really loose beach wave to it. Since your hair is really long, the center of your hair might still be wet- just blowdry it quickly while scrunching your hair and it hsould be fine.





You can go for a more flirty curl look. Since your hair is long,apply mousse to your hair, and let it airdry and just curl your hair in tight curls at night and put your hair into a bun,t hen when you wake up, take the bun out and touch up a few curls framing your face.





If you're going for a simpler look, just leave your hair natural, and pull your bangs back into a poof. to do that, just take all of your bangs, tease it a little bit and twist and pull back.

';cute'; is an opinion, so I don't think asking this on here was a very good choice either. It's hard to decide sometimes but ask some of your friends and look around in magazines and online.

Usually, short hair is key for fall and winter so I would suggest looking googling ';short brown hair'; and look through them. You didn't clarify what consistency your hair has either (thick, thin, curly, straight), so if depends on all of those things, in my opinion. hope that helped. :)

Im an asian male, and previously had the short spiky hairdo.


Currently i have a buzzcut a 3 blade on top and a 2 blade on the sides.





I switched to the buzzcut, because i was using gel previously and when girls would run their hands through my hair it would lightly hurt and start to flake, or they wouldnt want to run their hands through my hair.

Well if your hair is naturally curly, then don't worry about putting water in it. If you have natural curl but it's covered by frizz then try some mouse and or hairspray. If you want it to be straight then try blowing dying it straight and or use a straightening iron.

Make it wavy!!! Our curl it! Put some small curls near the ends then wrap it in a chigon.
My hair grows fast and when it gets long, I like to put in pin curls. I gives me a totally different look and the curls are really pretty kind of like spirals. I also tease the crown and pull back the sides, that style never goes out of style. Layers are good too. When you get bored with all of it, get a fresh new cut. I recently got a shorter cut w/stacks and I love it. It is low maintenence.

a messy bun(all you do is put your hair in a normal bun and scrunch your hair and put some short hairs out from the bun for the messy look).


a french braid


a side braid


put a small section of your hair to the side, then braid the little section and gather all the hair in to one pony tail you will have on little braid by your ear going into the ponytail.

I call it um well i dun have a name for it but dis is how u do it.



I take two Little strands of hair at the front sides and plait them/or braid. Den Tie dem up at da back and let all da rest loose or you can tie it in a pony.



U can also part your hair to one side and den take the part dat u parted and make it like da little mermaids hair. Puff it out den Clip it on da side so it partially covers ur eye but doesn't blind ued leave the rest out! It looks cute and when u clip it 2 da side u can use one of dose cute flower clips of glittery bobbies!

1. take a shower and towel dry your hair for about two minz



2. then get some moose and some gel together and with both of your hands go up and down messing up your hair like if your going to sueeze a balloon.(except for your bangs



3 then when your hair looks all curly grab one side and but it all in a ball and put a clip on it do the same for the other side



4.then leave it like that for about 10 minutes and as you wait for the ten minutes blow dry it.



5. then after those ten minutes take off the clips



6. then straighten your bangs in the style that you prefer and

Give yourself a different part and pin some of the front pieces back for an elegant yet causal look. You could also try a barrette or clip holding about half of your hair (the front) instead of a ponytail. Braids look pretty casual, just make sure you don't do them too high or it will make you look like a small child, one long braid can also look good.



EDIT: I've just remembered that side ponytails held low look really great too and require little effort!

french plait( get someone in school to do it for you as it's impossible to do it alone). do a bun. a ponytail. do a half ponytail and curl the rest.

i have dark brown, with a side fringe, just past my shoulders and has layers too! this is what i do!





ok get some mousse any brand will do, i prefer leutenant browns mousse de garcon its fabulous. now piss in a bucket mix in that brown mousse and dunk your head in till the ions settle in a di-dretic pattern (sticking up)





then sit by a radiator/oven/open fire and enjoy the musky smell of beautiful hair.








or just put it into a ponytail.. that would be my second answer. bit easier

mayb light the fire before hand if you wanna go that route... just to save time.
you can tie it up in a messy ponytail and let the fringe out. you can also try to let it loose and just pin your fringe a little loose at the side,it looks nice.

What cute hair styles can I do with short straight hair?

I have short layered hair. It is pretty straight but i straighten it when I wear it down, I like that look better. I wear it down and straightened sometimes, it takes a while though. It's faster when it is in either a messy bun or pony tail with my bangs pulled back or in a messy bun or pony tail with my bangs down so that is how I wear it most of the time.
