I am an African-American woman and my hair is originally, for lack of a better word ';nappy';. I had it permed, but for the past 2 years, I've been natural. My hair grew back out, but it's still straighter than it originally was. I would really like to make it curly - not wavy, but actually curly, and was wondering if there was any salon solution to that? Or is curly hair something you just have to be born with? Can anyone offer any opinions on changing hair styles from straight to curly?
Are you flat ironing it or pressing it a lot? If so, the heat may have permanently altered your hair texture. That's the only thing I can think of that would make your hair less curly than before. Can anyone offer any opinions on changing hair styles from straight to curly?
there are actual permanent waves you can get. did you trim off all the straight ends? also Deva Curl helps bring out your natural curl. try Deva Curl low poo shampoo and conditioner. you actually condition before you shampoo. then get the AnGel to put in for styling after.
