What are some good hair styles for a round face?

Has anyone got any pictures or websites that have good hairstyles for a round face? I am having my hair cut , i have lots of layers at the moment and my hair is just past shoulder length. I want a style that will make my face look slimmer and is trendy and in fashion. What are some good hair styles for a round face?
I saw this thing online that says for round faces, longer hairstyles are the best. I have a round face and I had long hair, then I cut it and regret it! Long hair and layers take away the roundness of your face. The long hair creates the illusion of a longer face, rather then a round one. Also if you have a round face and big cheekbones (many people do) wearing your hair all up and tight may look bad, because it may make your face look like a big balloon. I have a round face too.





Here's what I do.





Keep the length you have, just get your spilt ends cut.


Try to do more up do's.Like,high ponytail,bun,etc.


It creates the illusion of a slimmer face.Just kinda avoid wearing your hair down.


But don't don't get me wrong,if you appreciate the round face that god gave you then wear your hair down.





Also,wear big earrings.It helps.
hair styles for round faces usually match with short hair - hair that goes about to your chin. for a more slimmer look on your face, hair cuts up to your shoulders are fine too. layers are nice, you could try bangs ?
i wnat to kno the same thing! i hve a round face too n i dont kno what style i should do in my hair and its also just abt at shoulder length.
well if you have a round face i strongly suggest long front lairs it makes your face look slimmer and longer.
Well in my opinion, a bob would look good, but then again it might be to much
