What is the difference between scene and emo hair styles?

i've noticed that their hairstyles are pretty much the same. and i cant tell the difference between them.What is the difference between scene and emo hair styles?
actually scene has more coon tails and is lighter and longer and has more neon colors.

I don't know if this is right, but this is the way I look at it.

Emo is the dramatic, big hair with a gillion colors and everything, and scene is just like not all up in your eye and not necessarily huge and wicked teased. more laid-back, socially acceptable in my opinion.

I realize though that emo is a state of mind and a music genre, so that's why I say, ';I don't know if this is right.';

I think everyone has a different outlook on it though. To some, they're the same, to others they're different.

But honestly, don't hate cause of creativity?

yeah, in the begining maybe there was creativity.

But now, all i see when it comes to scene kids is a bunch of clones.

The majority of you guys act %26amp; look the same. %26amp; most scene kids are just a bunch of posers nowadays. Its lame. Yeah, maybe not all. I know some of them are legit, But thats just the minority.

I really dont see the 'uniqueness' you guys claim to have in your group anymore.

All you have to do is go to a show like DanceGavinDance or similar bands like that %26amp; you see a crapload of people with teased hair, girls that do their makeup so they have kitty eyes, piercings, and mad highlights.

ANYWAYS! Emo hair is a darker style while scene is more BOOM with bright colors and height.

sure we both have layers and tease it but when you get a scene kid and an emo kid next to eachother(even if they wore the same clothes) you can totally tell the difference.



the people who answered this bagging on the CREATIVE KIDS, seriously need to get a life. just because we express ourselves with our style, doesnt mean you have to hate cause we stick out of a crowd.

(not all that much of a difference. Scene is just a little more poofy-er and more colorful.)
They are pretty much the same hairstyle.I'd say ';emo'; is less big and colourful though.';Emo'; hairstyles look more textured then anything.';Scene'; hair,I think the aim of that is to get it as big as possible xD

I love both hairstyles.(my opinion)
They're both horrid looking in my opinion, and they both take an insane amount of time in the mirror to accomplish.

Though I think that Scene has more of a color aspect to it (colorful highlights on blonde hair for example) and more volume as well.
I think that ';scene hair'; stands out more, has more bright colors in it, with a lot of teasing done.



And ';emo hair'; is usually black with darker colors and not as teased, and the bangs usually covering the eyes.
