What kind of hair styles can I do for growing out a relaxer?

I have short relaxed hair and my roots are coming in fast. I hate braids and can't wear fake hair anymore so don't say any of those. Is there anything I can do? Thanks :)What kind of hair styles can I do for growing out a relaxer?
My hair is long and i'm letting my relaxer grow out but i use carol's daughter products. They straighten my hair . It made it easier to put my hair in different hairstyles. I don't know if its just with my mother and I but it straightens our hair.
