Which hair styles and makeup go best with cocktail dresses?

I'm going to a school formal dance. We are supposed to wear cocktail dresses, but I'm not sure what do do with my hair and face. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!Which hair styles and makeup go best with cocktail dresses?
I think you shoiuld do a cute up do9 if your hair is long enough). if not i think you should leave it stright and puff up the top!








a dark smokey eye would be cute. with maybe a red glossy lip.

You should show us a picture of the dress and a picture of you/your hair.





Try cat eyes (if you are good with eyeliner) and a mascara.


A gold smoky eye would be cute.





Then stick your hair in a side pony tail of loose curls.


(Or if its not long enough, just have it stick straight, do a poof with the top section of your hair, but leave your bangs down.)
Curl it, crimp it, straighten it, put it half up half down in a clip, put it in a nice bun.
