Any ideas of hair styles i can for horribly poofy hair?

Also, why are they limits on the questions you can ask?Any ideas of hair styles i can for horribly poofy hair?
Horribly poofy hair can be caused by many factors. Is it naturally curly, over-processed with chemicals (perms, color, straighteners, bleaching), do you have dry hair, do you use water from a well that contains iron or sulfur? If you can be a little more specific about the condition of your hair, maybe me or someone can be of more help.

I have no idea about why there are limits on the questions you can ask.Any ideas of hair styles i can for horribly poofy hair?
i agree with chris h. no other way.... I have no clue why they put limits on answering questions
don't put a lot of layers in it and dont cut it short. styling prducts will become your best friend for a situation like this and a GOOD straightener (not a $15 one from wal mart) from salleys beauty supply or a salon. Get one that gets to be 450F. As far as styling products go, get a straightening balm (matrix sleek.looks is great) and either a straightening spray (once again sleek.looks) Section off hair and apply products, and then slowly go over each section, making sure to not take big chunks. I would say there is no reason to wash your hair daily maybe 3-4 times a week, and just touch up each day with a straightener. I know you say that a straightener doesn't work in yuor hair, but with the correct products and the correct straightener, you should be golden.
you could try straiting it or having it cut
1. Never wash your hair every day. It will dry and frizz out more.

2. Use insane amounts of conditioner when you do wash your hair and let the conditioner set for at least 10 minutes. You can experiment with the time.

3. You need to buy expensive, nice hair products. Hair products are one of the things that if it is more expensive, it usually works better and is higher quality. People with straight, perfect hair cannot understand this.

4. Use a salon caliber product to finish on your hair (to style). NEVER use gel!! I'm assuming your hair is curly. If so, go to http://www.naturallycurly.com. They have awesome tips. If not, buy the best flat iron your can get - the CHI iron. It will works wonders with the right product combination. Talk to your hair stylist for specific recommendations.

Good luck!
Use silicone syrum... It is AWSOME stuff...

Keeps the poof down!

If it makes your face oily, like it does for me in the summer, use half body lotion, half gel when styling...

It is my secret to keeping my hair under control.
