My hair is kind of short to medium and layered and I tried to go the layers out, but the only one that grew was my bottom layer. So I have a long thin bottom layer and a shortish top layer. depending on the shape of your head, bangs may be a possible option for you. if you have a round head and a short neck,bangs will make you look chubbier. if you get side bangs, you can put them up in a 'mini poof' , or just un a headband for sports and stuff. angling your hair always looks good. (:
