Any good ideas for hair styles for an African American girl?

I want a unique hair style for the school year. I already have the first week hairstyle planned out but I need a week two, three, four. I have a medium hair length and long layers and no I'm not getting it cut until december and I hate updos. Please give me an idea.Any good ideas for hair styles for an African American girl?
okay well I like the wavy look

its called a braidout

after your wash and condition your hair

apply a cream leave in

(i like biologe or granier)

to your whole head

then part you hair in 4 sections

(upper left and lower left; upper right and lower right)

and put 4 big braids

(yes it may look stupid)

let it completly dry

(normally I'd sleep like that and take it out in the morning)

and unbraid your hair

and mess it up a little

and you'll have beachy wavesAny good ideas for hair styles for an African American girl?
