Any ideas on hair styles achieved with a straightening iron?

My hair is just about an inch or little more under my ears, i straighten it a lot. Anyone have any neat tricks or styles to with a straightening iron? i don't have a blow drier either, nor any other helpful hair essentials.Any ideas on hair styles achieved with a straightening iron?
My friend has short hair and i've seen her curl them with a hair straightener. It's really simple. That's only if you like to curl them. The difference between a curling iron %26amp; the straightener is obvious. When you use curling tongs, it meant rolling your hair upwards or downwards and it's quite complicated when you have short hair. Whereas straighteners 'clip' your hair like a sandwich. Another important tip:

You NEED to have at least one hair protection spray..especially from heat damage. Try grabbing as much heat protection spray for your hair. It might not show any sign of dry unhealthy hair for now, but sooner or later the effects will surface slowly. yeah. lik do braids in it at night when ur hair is wet and it would prob look really good curly! for straightening it... i would say do lyk a little up in lik a small pony in the back with lik a ribbion to match watever u r wearing . or use a curler and curl it with short hair it wont take long and look really good! good luck! hope this helps!
