I don't have alot of resources. Just the basic curling iron, straightener, curlers, bobby pins, hairspray, etc..
I really love her finger waves but with her long hair.
That's what I really want to know how to do.
but anything 40's and semi simple and easy works too.How do you get kate beckinsale's hair styles in pearl harbor?
I never saw that movie and so I don't know EXACTLY what you want but I am very good at 40s-60s hair so I can help.Almost all these hairstyles are SO easy and need only two things:
bobby pins
and gell
They didn't have blowdryers and curling irons were rare so they were rarely used. I don't feel like manually telling you how to step by step do things so here is something great for finger waves (by the way there easy, it's the first thing you learn in beauty school because they're so easy and you learn more about the natural wave of the hair in doing to)

By the way I would try pin curls too they're really easy and pretty.
This is the girl who taught me a lot of things and she has a youtube channel on all things 40s.

well, hire like the most amazing hairstylist ever to live in a trailer in your drive way and style your hair all the time. Or... After you curl your hair gently comb it out, really gentle. A soft bristle flat brush is best, it will give it that 40's glam wave. then you could just play around and experiment with putting it up.
