If you want to keep your long hair, wear it up either in a bun style or any of the other styles that pile your hair on top. This will give the impression of a longer neck. Shorter hair will show more of your neck, once again giving the longer neck look. With a square shaped face, add some wisps of hair forward onto your cheek bones, temples etc. This will alter the shape of your face.
