I have very thin hair and my hair is long...mid back. I've noticed that my hair looks thinner when it is longer. The only reason I don't cut it short is because I hate short hair and it makes my round face look fatter.
Do you know of any cute hair cut styles I can try? What are good hair styles for people with thin hair?
Hair that is really thin is difficult to wear long, particularly if it is so thin that even a braid looks small. If you want to keep it long, you should probably wear it up almost all of the time, make sure you never brush it wet, and save wearing it down for special occasions. Layers may just make it look thinner; you'll have even less hair. But you really should consider a shorter cut for a more mature and sophisticated look that is easier to maintain with your hair type.
Consider a blunt cut just above your shoulders. It's not truly short, but by getting the hair off of your shoulders it will swing and move and give the illusion of being both longer and thicker. What are good hair styles for people with thin hair?
The longer you let your thin hair grow out, it thins itself out more and more. Try getting something short, it will create the illusion that you have thicker hair. I dont want to recommend a bob for a round face because, like you said, it will emphasize the roundness of your face. Try getting angles in your haircut, those will draw the attention away from your face shape and more on your hair.
I like Lauren Conrad's short hairstyle, maybe you will too (: :

Good luck (:
And if you dont like the cut, just remember, hair always grows back (:
Layers --and lots of 'em!
Layers give the illusion of thickness because they add dimention.
Also, shorter cuts make thin hair look thick because you'd be chopping off the thinnest part of your hair which is the ends.
Think of Heidi Klum when she had short hair or Selena Gomezs' new cut. They both have short, layered hair, with side bangs (another key to adding thickness and the illusion of dimention.)

If you're a little scared of making a major change, try chopping just a 2 inches at a time. Though the change may be small, you're hair will look more lively and thick when you get rid of those ends.
Good luck! :)
If your hair is actually thin, there is some stuff called Hair in A Can which you sprinkle on. It clings to your hair and makes it look thicker. It's made by VH Magic, and I found it at www.vhmagic.com. They also have Hair Enhance, which is a powder that you put on then brush out, and it gives volume to your hair. The Hair in A Can comes in colors to match your hair. The Hair Enhance is sort of a dry shampoo, and is only lightly tinted so it just gives highlights. Hope this helps!
Your right, long hair doesn't always look best when it is very thin. Try a long angled bob (think Victoria Beckham). By using the layers in the crown and back you will be able to apply product to give you the illusion of volume. Keep the front longer (maybe even long layers) so you will still feel you've kept at least some length).Good luck :)
Try braiding it. Have you ever considered side bangs?
