What are some hair styles for pinning long hair up?

Where can I look for a manual to show me various professional hairstyles? I am applying to be a high school teacher, and have long hair. I do not want to cut it, so I need some ideas. French twist, etc.What are some hair styles for pinning long hair up?
French twist is totally out of style....Updo's are for evening. Other than a pony tail for working out or hanging at home. I suggest you cut your hair to just below the shoulder. It;s professional while still stylish. Go to a salon and talk about your lifestyle and what you do with your hair~ they will help you! High School teachers are hip and stylish these days.
